Upington Rugby Club starts with a bang!
Upington Rugby Club won their first match in the Super league against Kuruman 43 - 19 on Saturday 18 June .Upington's forwards dominated the match but in the lineouts Kuruman stood their ground. Although a good win Upington will have to work hard on their dissipline as they were handed out three yellow cards Overall it was a good start and coach Sas Le Roux have alot to smile about. Try scorers were Bennie Potgieter (2)Stefan Botma,C.J.Els,Pierre Rossouw,Stefan Buys and Hugo Van Niekerk.Fullback Pierre Rossouw converted 4 Tries
