Upington wins Kenhardt Cup

Upington Rugby Club won the league  on Saturday 4 June  by beating Kakamas 56-18 in an attractive game. Half time score were only 20 - 18 but after half time they showed their class and scored 36 points without reply. Full back Pierre Rossouw contributed 21 points. Try scorers were J.Fourie, W.A.VanNiekerk, S.Bothma, B.Peens, P.Steenkamp, H.Dege and S.Buys

Second team won hard fought battle

Upington Rugby Club made it a double when their second team won the 2 nd league by beating a brave Groblershoop 30 - 22 in the final
